Cadets of the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, University of Defence in Belgrade attended the 58th Congress of Biomedical Science of Students of Serbia held from 28 April to 2 May 2017 on Kopaonik.

The event included the presentation of students’ research papers in the field of biomedicine. Three MMA’s cadets of the third and fourth class won first place. A cadet of the third class Marija Stupar won the first place at the plenary session in the field of otorhinolaryngology and ophthalmology, while a lecture delivered by a cadet Jelena Gagovic was declared the best in the session on toxicology. The best lecture in the session on infectious diseases was held by a fourth-class cadet Nikola Trifunovic.

At the congress, that every year gathers a large number of university students from the country and the region, 11 cadets of the third, fourth and fifth class of the MMA Faculty of Medicine participated in.
