
Belgrade Anesthesia Forum Completed

The Belgrade Anesthesia Forum (BAF), organized by the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the Military Medical Academy and the Section for Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Therapy of the Serbian Medical Society, was held at the Military Medical Academy.
The meeting at the Military Medical Academy was opened by Colonel Prof. Dr. Dragan Đorđević, Head of the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the Military Medical Academy, as well as President of the Section, recalling the history of anesthesia at the Military Medical Academy, which traditionally brings together a large number of participants and lecturers from the country and neighboring countries. The national symposium on the topic of intensive care medicine in two sessions brought together the latest findings in the treatment of sepsis and various experiences from intensive care units, as well as oral presentations with case reports of surgical complications and treatment in intensive care units.
This year's BAF, the ninth in a row, consisted of four accredited professional meetings, two first-category national seminars, and two symposia with international participation, which lasted from October 18 to 20, 2024.
