Bujanovacka banja, November 21 - The MMA head Maj.Gen. Prof. Miodrag Jevtić, M.D., Ph.D. and the rector of the University of Defence of the Czech Republic Brig.Gen. Prof. Rudolf Urban, M.Sc, Ph.D., signed the agreement on cooperation between those two institutions in Bujanovac spa.
‘’We have already established an excellent cooperation in various fields of medicine with our colleagues from the Czech Republic. This agreement would provide the basis for educational, scientific-research and medical experts exchange programs’’ said General Jevtić adding that it would only be the concretization of all previously reached agreements within the framework of intensive bilateral cooperation between Serbia and the Czech Republic in the field of military medicine. ‘’We expect that, after recent accreditation of our educational programs, such cooperation would be established between the future University of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the University of Defence of the Czech Republic’’ said General Jevtić. He also mentioned that the first next step to be taken in that direction would be the accreditation of educational programs in English. ‘’We have worldwide recognized experts, top professors and assistants professors, we are seriously engaged in scientific work and, finally, we are in a position to valorize that officially’’ pointed out General Jevtić.
The Agreement between the Military Medical Academy and the University of Defence of the Czech Republic was signed in Bujanovac spa during the conduct of the international medical exercise ‘Save path 08’. Professor Urban, who specially came to that event to sign the Agreement, expressed his great satisfaction and highly appraised the level of readiness and skillfulness of the MMA experts.
