Activities within the Day of the Military Medical Academy

Traditional activities at the MMA were held as a part of the Day of the Military Medical Academy marking.
At the military staff meeting the Acting Head Col. Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic
in his address congratulated the members of MMA the jubilee and thanked the personnel of the Eye Clinic for the organization of fundus examinations for the citizens. As he said, this working kind of marking the Day of the Military Medical Academy has become a recognized humanitarian action. Professor Vukosavljevic commented on the reform of the military healthcare that aims at improving the working conditions and the optimizing the resources in order to provide high quality healthcare services. He stressed that each individual solution is a part of a broader picture, the overall chart of the military healthcare in the defense system, health and educational systems, as well as that the MMA
will come out of the reform as a unique, strengthened institution that will continue to play a special role in every aspect of its work.
