Institute of Transfusiology and Hemobiology of the Military Medical Academy in cooperation with associations of voluntary blood donors and other institutions collected 464 blood units in March 2017.

Voluntary donors responded to the actions of the Police Brigade in Belgrade, the factory "Milan Blagojevic - Defence" Lucani, the Public company for underground coal mining - Resavica, the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors Bijeljina and Lazarevac, the Red Cross in Trstenik, the Association of Serbs from B&H, the primary school "Mika Antic" in Belgrade, the action of employees in the Correctional Facility "Zabela" and the voluntary blood donors from Kolubara mining basin branch "Kolubara Metal".
