Head of the Military Healthcare Department, Brigadier General Radivoje Anđelković VMD, met with the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran led by Brigadier General Sayed Mahdi Farahi.

The meeting at the Military Medical Academy was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Iran in Belgrade, His Excellency Rashid Hasanpour, the Head of the Military Medical Academy, Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević and their associates. Discussions of joint working groups on the topic of forms of cooperation in the field of military medicine were held.

Discussions of interest to both sides related to branches of human medicine such as surgery and toxicology with special reference to the possibility of exchanging knowledge and experience through study visits and education programs, cooperation of health care services, and getting to know different education systems. Also, they discussed the military medical capacities of the two countries and the improvement of medical services through cooperation in professional scientific publications.
