A modern approach to the organization of nurses’ and health technicians’ work

Today, the Symposium "Modern Approach to the Organization of Nurses’ and Health Technicians’ Work" was held in the Military Medical Academy as part of continuous medical education, which was officially opened by the Head of the Military Medical Academy, Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević.
In the one-day training, knowledge, and experience in the nursing service organization were shared, as well as identifying innovative solutions that can contribute to improving health care in the region. Today's symposium was attended by Dijana Otašević, president of the Association of Nurses, Technicians and Midwives of the Republic of Serbia, Vesna Jocić, director of the Chamber of Nurses and Health Workers, as well as Nataša Bogunović, head nurse of Dragiša Mišović Hospital from Belgrade.
In front of a full amphitheater of the Military Medical Academy, which was filled to the last seat with both local and foreign lecturers, the emphasis was placed on the importance of continuous education and a common understanding of the specific problems of all employed health workers. Nurses as carriers of the health care process, in addition to knowledge, should also possess managerial skills, emphasized the head of the Health Care Department of the Military Medical Academy, master nurse Bojana Jovanović. Emphasizing that there are no borders in medicine, such opportunities are the biggest and best chance to exchange experiences at the highest level and to create good foundations for all future joint steps.
