Under the decision of the MMA’s Management Board and upon the invitation of Prof. Dr. John Wolf, an eminent Britain vascular surgeon and president of the European Association of Vascular Surgeons, Major Ivan Marjanović, a physician from the MMA’s Clinic for Vascual Surgery underwent advanced training program in St. Marry Royal Hospital in London (Great Britain) from September to December, 2009.

Continuation of the Successful Cooperation between MMA and OPCW

The delegation of the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague composed of managers of the OPCW Medical Department Stephen Neault i Franz Ontal, paid a visit to the Military medical Academy and reviewed with the responsible representatives of our institution all the aspects of two-year long cooperation in the field of education and training of the OPCW personnel at the Academy.

Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General Mrs. Rima Salah and the Force Commander of the UN peacekeeping mission in Chad and the Central African Republic (MINURCAT) presented the members of the MMA’s surgical team UN medals for their high professional contributions and commitment within the mission framework.
