MMA Vascular Surgeons at the European Congress

The participation of the MMA vascular surgeons at the recently held European Congress of Cardiovascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists in Valencia, the Kingdom of Spain, was remarkable. They presented their paper titled „Endovascular reconstruction of giant gastroduodenal artery aneurism with stent graft: a case report“ and authored by Major Dr. Ivan Marjanović, Maj.Gen. Prof. Dr. Miodrag Jevtić, Col. Prof. Dr. Sidor Mišović, LtCol. Dr. Siniša Rusović, Col. Uroš Zoranović, MD., and Major Momir Šarac, MD.

The MMA’s intensive international activities continued to take place these days at the Military Medical Academy with the aim of establishing and enhancing cooperation in the domains of military medicine and health care. The Delegation of the Egyptian Ministry of Defense consisting of Major General Mohamed Hosni Hanza Ibrahim and Col. Mona Jusuf Mohamed Mahmud were in a two-day visit to the Military Medical Academy to negotiate the education and training our institution could offer to the Egyptian military medical nurses in the fields of intensive care, surgery, physical therapy and rehabilitation, chemodialysis and radiological diagnosis and therapy.

The MMA’s delegation of interventional cardiologists and radiologists took an active part in the European Congress of interventional cardiologists held in Paris. There were 15000 experts from the whole world participating in the Congress devoted to new treatment methods and techniques of interventional cardiology.
