Colonel Vukosavljevic completed his residency in ophthalmology at the MMA and PhD at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 1999. He was promoted to the rank of colonel in 2004. Since 2005 he has been a Head of the MMA Clinic for Ophthalmology and as of 2010 he has been a full professor at the MMA Medical Faculty. Since June 28, 2016 he has been a full member of Serbian Royal Academy of Scientists and Artists.
