On the occasion of the Day of the Military Medical Academy and the Day of the MMA Medical Faculty, the diploma awards ceremony was held for individuals who in the period between two jubilees successfully completed specializations or sub- specializations at the MMA.

The Acting Head of the MMA, Colonel Prof. Dr. Zoran Segrt congratulated specialists and subspecialists for their effort and work. He stated that education is the second pillar of MMA’s work and functioning and to the great extent it contributed to the long and proud tradition of the 171 anniversary of this Institution. Prof. Segrt pointed out that almost every day the MMA organizes certain courses, seminars, symposiums, congresses or other forms of continuing medical education in a wider range than local one, intended not only for the employed at the MMA but also for the international professionals as it was the Third Pan-European Congress of Military Medicine which we hosted last year.

The Head of the Sector for Education and Scientific-Research Lt. Colonel Dr. Miroslav Brocic awarded 56 diplomas out of which 50 specialists and six sub-specialist diplomas. The ceremony was attended by the Heads of Sectors, groups of Clinics and Institutes, Heads of Clinics and Institutes, faculty members and mentors of specialists and sub-specialists, as well as members of their families and friends.
