First VATS Parathyroidectomy in Region

The first radioguided parathyroidectomy via VATS in patients suffering from hyperparathyroidism has been performed at the Military Medical Academy on March 12, 2014. The patient D.D. (born in 1959) is stable and postoperative recovery is normal.
First Step in ATLS Implementation in the Republic of Serbia

Military Medical Academy hosted the meeting organized with the representatives of an eminent program in the field of traumatology- Advanced trauma life support (ATLS), namely Prof. Dr. Inger Schipper from the Leiden University Medical Center, Netherlands and Claus Falck Larsen, Head of the Traumatology Clinic in Copenhagen, Kingdom of Denmark.

International activities of European Nursing Module Network – ENM in the period March 4-10, 2014, included the visit of the students coming from Kingdom of Norway, Kingdom of Sweden and Kingdom of Spain to the Military Medical Academy, as teaching base intended for nursing schools professional training in the Republic of Serbia, which is also the ENM member.
