The surgical team of the Military Medical Academy continues the solid organs transplant program with successful liver transplantation in the patient G.G. (60) during the night between 29th and 30th September 2017, as well as good cooperation between the transplant centers of Serbia - the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, the Clinical Center of Serbia and the Military Medical Academy.

The new school year for cadets of the Medical Faculty of the Military Academy of the University of Defence in Belgrade was officially marked at the Military Medical Academy. The ceremony was attended by the Acting Head of the MMA Colonel Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic, Dean of the Medical Faculty of the Military Academy of the University of Defence in Belgrade, Col. The scientific part of the program of the 22nd Congress of the Balkan Military Medical Committee (BMMC) was concluded with a closing ceremony, while the 41st post-congressional meeting, which traditionally summarizes the impressions of the quality of scientific papers and the progress of cooperation among member states, was held at the Military Medical Academy.

The 22nd Congress of the Balkan Military Medical Committee has been opened at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belgrade and will last until September 28th. Representatives of Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Turkey are also taking part in this event.

Reimplantation of left hand with reanastomosis - establishing the arterial and venous circulation in patient N.M (28) after a traumatic injury that involvied a partial amputation of the hand in the wrist region, was successfully done at the Military Medical Academy.

The written part of the test for the European Diploma in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care- EDAIC, organized by the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the Military Medical Academy and the Association of Anesthesiologists and Intensivists of Serbia (AASA), was held at the MMA.
09.09.2017 | The youngest officers of the Serbian Armed Forces promoted
The youngest second lieutenants of the Serbian Armed Forces have been promoted today at the ceremony in front of the National Assembly. A number of 187 male and female cadets of the 138th class of the Military Academy and the 3rd class of the Military Medical Academy Medical Faculty received the first officer's ranks.
