Within its 3-day official visit to the Republic of Serbia Ministry of Defence, the Delegation of the Democratic People’s Repubic of Algerie has paid a visit to the Military Medical Academy. The delegation is, however, responsible for establishing military educational and military medical cooperative relationships. It was hosted by the MMA’s deputy head Col. Prof. Dr. Dragan Dinčić.

The Institute of Hygiene of the MMA Sector for Preventive Medicine hosted a course "Presence of Vitamins in Human Nutrition" on March 20, 2012. Lecturers from MMA were Prof. Dr. Sonja Radaković with a lecture titled "Hydrosoluble Vitamins" while Assistant Professor. Dr. Slavica Rađen devoted her lecture to "Liposoluble Vitamins". Dr. Sc. Zorica Basić spoke about "Possibilities of Advanced Methods Aimed at Quantitative Determination of Nutritive Vitamins".

On the occasion of the Day of the Military Medical Academy, March 2, 2012, the MMA’s Melanoma Center organized the free-of-charge mole screening campaign with the aim of their early detection. The campaign open to all the citizens took place at the Republic of Serbia AF Club. There were 4 wards operating independently, each run by 4 dermatovenerologists and 3 plastic surgeons

At the AF Club, on the occasion of the Day of the Military Medical Academy, the MMA’s Melanoma Center organized free preventive exams of the skin with the aim of early detection of melanoma and other forms of skin cancer.
