In the session held on April 5th 2012, Belgrade Ministry of Defence Council in accordance with the decision of MMA’s Teaching-Scientific Council no. 9/540 of February 29, 2012 accepted the following specific scientific areas and subjects encompassed by the specific scientific areas:

Military Medical Training Center of the MMA Sector for Education and Scientific Research organized continous medical education (CME) course titled "Management of Medical Services in the Case of Mass Accidents".

Symposium titled "Rehabilitation Nurse Between General and Interdisciplinary Approach to Patient Care” organized by the Clinic for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation was held on April 20, 2012 in the MMA’s Amphitheater.
20.04.2012 | A New Type of Endoprosthesis Implanted at the MMA’s Traumatology and Orthopedics Clinic
On April 20, 2012, the surgical team from the MMA’s Clinic for Traumatology and Orthopedics headed by Colonel Prof. Dr. Med. Zoran Popović implanted for the first time at the MMA a new hip endoprosthesis.

11.04.2012 | Signing of Cooperation Protocol between the MMA and the Svilajnac Municipality
The Cooperation Protocol between the MMA and the Svilajnac Municipality has been signed today, in the cabinet of the Ministry of Defence. In the presence of Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac, the Protocol was signed by the MMA’s head Brigadier General Marijan Novakovic on behalf of the Ministry of Defense, and Deputy Mayor Predrag Milanovic on behalf of the Svilajnac Municipality.
11.04.2012 | Paramedics Completed Their Training at MMA
The Advanced General and Special Patient Care Training Course tailored for paramedics that was run at Military Medical Academy, over the January 21-March 28, 2012 period, ended by the final meeting headed by Col. Prof. Dr. Predrag Romić, head of the Sector for Education and Scientific Research, and a pedagogue Gordana Pavković, as the most responsible for the project-related organizational activities.

The head of the Military Medical Academy, Brig. Gen. The guests were accompanied by the dean of the MMA Medical School, University of Defence, Brig. Gen. Academician Prof. Dr. Miodrag Čolić.
