A scientific meeting celebrating 165 years of the Military Medical Academy tradition and commemorating the165th anniversary of the birth of Dr Vladan Đorđević, the father of the Serbian Surgery, Surgeon General of the Serbian Armed Forces Medical Services, the founder of the Serbian Medical Society and Serbian Red Cross Association, was held at the Military Medical Academy.
04.02.2010 | MMA - On Wednesdays, Serves as the Emergency Center of the Serbian Health Service
Based on the Agreement between the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, as of March 03, 2010, the Military Medical Academy has assumed the responsibility to provide immediate support to the Emergency Center of the Serbian Clinical Center in medical management of patients in life-threatening conditions.

The MMA’s Psychiatry Clinic, Serbian Psychiatry Society, and Serbian Medical Society’s Psychiatric Section have been the organizers of the Symposium devoted to ‘’Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: Contemporary trends in research and treatment’’ which was held today in the amphitheater of the Military Medical Academy.
23.01.2010 | Professional Advanced Training in Patient Health Care
Within the framework of bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and Germany, a civilian employee, Ms.Živka Pivić, a medical nurse from the MMA’s Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology was sent to Naumberg and Hanover on a nine-month advanced training in patient health care and medical documentation management.

Members of the Organizing Committee of the 27th World Summer Universiade to be held in 2013, in Kazan, the Russian Province of Tatarstan, paid a visit to the Military Medical Academy to exchange experiences in providing medical support to this sport manifestation.
