At the Press Conference held to present the results of the MoD’s work over the previous year, Minister of Defence, Dragan Šutanovac, pointed out that in September 2007, the Military Medical Academy was designated a regional training center for military medical cooperation and that it had been an integral part of the National Health System since the beginning of 2008, what provided conditions for all the citizens of the Republic of Serbia to seek without any administrative barriers and on the basis of adequate referrals treatment with this top medical institution.

Agreement on providing medical services and preventive medical treatment to the employees of the Kolubara coal mine by the Military Medical Academy was signed by the management and syndicate representatives of the Kolubara coal mine and the head of the Military Medical Academy Maj.Gen. Prof. Miodrag Jevtic, MD, PhD Kolubara employees have been users of medical services of this national healthcare facility for almost 3 years.
